Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone. I hope you all had a successful shopping week!

It looks like were going to have a white Christmas here in Colorado, which I am super excited about! But it's a little bitter sweet because my honey may have to go plowing tomorrow if it snows. Fingered cross he wont have to go but we'll still get snow.

I'm looking forward to Christmas breakfast, I think that's my favorite part of the whole day. We splurge on bagel and lox, fruit, chocolate covered everything, and Champagne or mimosas. Then we snack on it all day long until dinner. This year for dinner my honey brought some deer meat home that a friend gave him so were cooking that up as well as a seafood pasta for those of us who don't eat any meat besides fish (me).  Were having our neighbors over and the whole family together, so it should be fun!

Do you have any Christmas day traditions that your looking forward to?
Whats on your menu for Christmas dinner?

Don't forget to vote on the Christmas tree contest, today will be the last day. I switched the voting settings to hidden so the results wont show after you vote that way tomorrow the winners will be a delightful surprise! I will switch it back on tomorrow so everyone can check it out to see how many votes they got!

Stay safe, happy, and warm!

  1. 'Sounds like a real feast, Jonquil. Serve up the deer and a bagel for me. Yes, I am "bad" 'cause I love my meats, lol! The seafood sounds great also. 'Hoping you get your snowy white Christmas. Here in Alabama it is just all rainy. Our traditions include a big ham and dressing. We also celebrate thankfulness for the children in our family.

  3. Hi Jonquil,

Hope you had a Merry Christmas and wishing you a Happy New Year too! We finally made our move to the new house a week and a half before Christmas, but I managed to put up the tree, two wreaths front and back doors, and a few decorations in the living room. The move was a little overwhelming for me, but the place is looking better now. Still have a few boxes to go through and some organizing in the basement...Christmas stuff. Later will come the pictures and shelves on the walls and other decorating. It'll take some time. I've missed out on checking the Christmas blogs, so I took a little time tonight to do so. Next year I'll enter your Christmas tree contest. Have a great week Jonquil!
